How does a switch work?
Your next cohort starts with us. Learners already partway through finish where they are, so nobody changes system in the middle of a qualification. Once those cohorts have finished, we bring your historic records across, so everything ends up in one place.
What happens to learners partway through a qualification?
They finish on the system they started on. Moving evidence and sign off halfway through a qualification is where things go wrong, so we do not do it. Your current system only needs to run until those learners have completed.
Do we lose our historic records?
No. Once your current cohorts have finished, we bring the historic records across, so past learners sit alongside new ones and you can still show them at audit. Before we start, we agree with you exactly what comes across.
Can we try it before we commit?
Yes. We set up a working version loaded with demo data so your staff can use it themselves before you decide. If it suits you, we agree a go live date together.
How long does a switch take?
It follows your cohort dates rather than a fixed timetable. We set the system up for your qualifications, your staff try it, and your next cohort starts on the agreed go live date. The historic records come across once your current cohorts have finished.
How much does switching cost?
It depends on how many learners you have and how much history comes across. You get a clear figure before anything starts.
