Who runs Qualiflow?
Qualiflow is run by Laura and Pete. Laura leads on training delivery, sales and the sectors we work in. Pete leads on building the systems, how they work and how they are run. Between us, we understand both the qualification and the software.
Why did we start Qualiflow?
We saw training providers paying for portfolio systems built for everyone, bending their delivery to fit, and waiting weeks for simple changes. So we built one around the way a provider actually works. Qualiflow exists to do the same for other providers.
Laura
I bring over 20 years of experience in vocational training and workforce development, as a lead trainer, assessor and curriculum developer. I have guided learners at every stage, from entry level to experienced professionals, through accredited qualifications and workplace readiness programmes. My focus has always been turning technical, highly regulated standards into clear, accessible training, and that shapes how we build tools that are simple to use and stand up to quality assurance.
Pete
Qualiflow grew out of watching Laura wrestle with software that kept letting her down. Overcharged by the billing team one month, told a feature just wasn't possible the next. I come from an IT and cyber security background, so I looked at it and knew I could build something better.
I started late last year, working closely with Laura and the people around her, the IQAs and EQAs and the wider team whose experience spans a real breadth of diploma qualifications and industry. I don't believe in building in isolation. The best systems come from listening to the people who do the work every day, then pushing back where it matters, on security, on two-factor, on how the whole thing flows.
The portal is doing really well because it was built that way, as a partnership. No software is ever perfect, but this one gets better because the people using it shape it. And overseeing all of it, our office cat Victor. A moggy of unusual size whose presence is always felt.
